Senior UI Engineer – Belfast

Are you an Angular specialist looking to gain commercial experience with React?

Are you already an expert in React but you aspire to lead a team?

Are you a user interface engineer who would like to work with the latest front-end technologies?

If you can answer YES to any of these questions, then let’s talk!

This global company opened its doors in Belfast in 2018 and they have already one of the top reputations in the developer community with 5-star reviews on Glassdoor.
It’s because of this reputation that they have already attracted 42 digital professionals and they aim to increase this by 25% by the end of 2019.

You’ll be working in an environment that has the feeling of a dynamic start-up but with the added security of a global company in the background.

The company headquarters in Illinois, with offices in Cheshire, Copenhagen, Maidenhead, Melbourne, Munich, Paris and Tokyo.  Belfast is its 9th location.

In layman’s terms; the firm has developed a portfolio of integrated solutions and products that allow senior executives within businesses to have unparalleled clarity into the technology that they use.  Basically, they help companies realise their full IT potential so they can move their business on quickly.

You’ll be joining a UI team that is currently made up of 2 engineers.  Initially, you’ll be working on a platform that provides a unique approach to cloud cost management and optimisation.  This front-end team will be key in building a clean and smart UI for this product as well as others in their portfolio.

Currently, the company uses the Angular framework, but they are moving towards React framework which is why I am keen to speak to UI Engineers with a background in any framework.

You’ll have at least 5 years’ experience and will be highly skilled in a JavaScript framework.  React would be ideal.  Also, knowledge of TypeScript, ECMAScript and build tools would be helpful but not essential.  Past applications you’ll have worked on will have been quite impressive in scale.  Previous experience in implementing secure web applications would be beneficial.

In return, you will receive a generous salary, 10% bonus, health care, flexible working hours and more. You’ll also be joining a high-performance team which values trust and community. You’ll be encouraged to attend training courses so that you can progress your skills, as well as weekly check-ins with a mentor.

If all this sounds appealing, please give me a call/txt/WhatsApp on 077 8988 6539 or simply send a CV using the links provided.
