Senior PHP Developer – remote working available (£40k - £50k)
** We are accepting applications from PHP developers across Ireland. The role is fully remote, but you would be required to come to Belfast once a month (post-COVID). **
This is much more than just a pure coding position.
You will be in a pivotal role within an established, multi-award-winning company. You will be the right-hand man to the Head of IT and you will be involved in the augmentation of new solutions with the development team.
My client has a PHP team based offshore and this is the first hire for the Belfast office. You’ll not only be an experienced PHP developer, but you must be able to assist the Head of IT to build a PHP team in Belfast. You’ll be commercially savvy, and you will be able to assist the Business teams on calls with the customer’s tech teams.
From a technical perspective, you will be involved with the development of significant new projects within the business, developing API interfaces, integrating existing systems with new architecture, and helping to develop technical requirements and plan projects.
You will be working in an agile environment and developing rapid prototypes to enable the business to test, prioritise and scale for the many exciting opportunities facing the business today. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of teams on an ever-evolving range of robust, reusable coding solutions and industry-leading interfaces.

You should also have an Honours Degree in computing, science, technology, mathematical or business-related discipline (minimum 2:1).
