Senior Front-End Developer

This job has come about because my client’s legacy systems have been in place for over ten years and the company now needs to integrate the latest technologies to ensure they maintain their market leadership.
The current thinking within the development team is that the Vue framework would be the way to go as it’s easier to integrate into existing systems, but the great thing about this job is that the successful Front-End Developer will be a key player in helping to redesign the front-end architecture and helping to decide the types of technology that should be used e.g. React or Angular.
Variety of work will not be an issue if you take this job: the Head of IT is currently looking at 200+ projects that need to be prioritised and planned, and you will also have the opportunity to work on virgin projects.
The Head of IT has recently joined the company himself. With over 20 years’ experience as a developer, he will be staying ‘hands on’ and needs someone who can work alongside him in a collaborative manner to help improve the overall UX of both new and existing systems.
There is a back-end development team with 20 members that are based off-site in another location, and you will also need to collaborate with them effectively to ensure everyone stays on point.
