Senior C#.NET Developer (£45k - £55k) – Belfast or London

What sort of organisation would you prefer to work in?

Would it be in a smaller company that has all the energy of a start-up and you can get exposure to the full development lifecycle as well as getting involved in other areas like DevOps?

Or is it in a larger organisation that can provide you with great job security, career progression, etc?

Well, this job provides both.

My client is a growing, dynamic software firm that provides spend-management software solutions enabling enterprises to gain cost transparency and control of their entire range of corporate subscriptions, recurring expenses, and vendor relationships.

They are headquartered in New York, with offices in London, Belfast, and The Netherlands.  They employ around 200 people worldwide and they have acquired four businesses since 2016.

One of their premier products is called Research Monitor.  This is a centralised system that allows companies to manage and analyse their research and information subscriptions. It is a platform with multiple components including webservice APIs, web applications, browser extensions, windows services, cloud services, mobile apps, etc.

We are looking for a C# Developer to help add new features and supporting existing functionality in Research Monitor, as well as improving the architecture and deployment mechanisms of this distributed system, so it is quite a varied role.

The Person

You’ll have at least 5 years of commercial experience using C#.  It is preferable that applicants have experience in web development using the .NET framework, but we won’t rule out C# developers looking for a change.  You will need experience in SQL.  Other desired skills include web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, etc.

Training Opportunities

You will get the chance to learn JavaScript and the Angular framework for API integrations.  The company also uses WPF for internal projects such as the company website and managed inventory services.

I have placed several people with this company over the years and the feedback has been fantastic!

To give you an idea of the culture of the company, during the pandemic the CEO has been very transparent with employees and set up a fortnightly video call with all employees to keep them reassured during these difficult times.

For more info, give me a call/text/WhatsApp on 077 8988 6539 for a confidential chat.  Or you can send a CV using the links provided.

Gareth will be in touch soon.
