Business Development will require a truly consultative approach, you’ll need to get to know your clients, understand their processes and then demonstrate how the software can save them time & money.
The beauty of the product is that it allows users to produce clear & concise data in an easy to understand format that’s also easy on the eyes.
The product is technically head and shoulders above anything else out there. It just makes sense. It won’t be a question of “why should we invest in this?” it’ll be “can we afford not to invest in this?”.
You’ll be working with Surveying, Asset Management, Property, Insurance, Education etc. sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.
You’ll have flexibility. You choose; either paddle your own canoe, do your sales and be responsible for yourself OR there is the opportunity to become their Sales Manager where you will own the team target/lead/motivate the rest of the sales team.
You’ll be the sort of person who can spot a tire kicker from a genuinely hot lead and get a real sense of satisfaction from closing a deal & helping your clients become more efficient. You’ll be one of those people who always likes to be busy and have the hunger to hunt for business if there are no new inbound leads to work on.
With YoY growth, they have recently recruited a Marketing Manager to help deliver leads along with a fantastic Head of Sales and they are looking to expand the company significantly by acquiring new commercial clients. They also have a couple of excellent USP’s which will make your life significantly easier when it comes to closing deals.
Revenue generation is key and the ability to carry and deliver a target is a given, but they are also looking for people who will be a great fit with their business, so you will be team orientated, creative, competitive and consultative.
You’ll be in GB once every couple of weeks conducting presentations as well as carrying out demo’s (both web and face-to-face) to prospective clients before proposing solutions and securing new business, so there will be a bit of travel.
You’ll be paid well and there’s a generous commission scheme to reward your wins.
