“They’ll help shape the skyline”
When I asked one of the directors why somebody should leave their current job, and work for them, the above snippet really grabbed my attention.
In the future, you’ll get to point out the buildings that you’ve worked on to your family & friends and say, “that’s one of mine”.
You’ll join a close-knit team of Quantity Surveyors & Project Managers and you’ll work on some of the largest & most interesting projects in NI & UK. You’ll be switched on and be hungry to learn & develop your commercial skills.
They’ve also got a very low staff turnover so when I asked a member of one of their team “Why do you think people stay there, long-term?” they answered:
“I think it genuinely is a good group of people here that all work well together as a team and get along. I think if you are happy working with the people it makes the day that bit easier.”
No matter your level of experience, your opinion & input will be taken on board & have equal weight to someone with 20-30 + yrs experience.
The consultancy has kept busy throughout the pandemic and have taken a blended approach to working from the office/home.
Their projects are in both public & private sectors. You’ll get variety & won’t be stuck BOQ bashing all day every day. You’ll see projects through from estimates to final accounts, so you’ll never get bored.
There is a real camaraderie feel in the team. They pull together & help each other out during busy times & they genuinely like each other.
