Prosjektleder (Norge) - HV Stasjoner og elektriske overførings- og distribusjonssystemer.
Have you ever wondered how David Attenborough would be as a Recruiter?
Well here I am (in my finest David Attenborough impersonation with his velvet, dulcet tones) looking for an experienced Project Manager in Oslo with a background in Electrical Substations and Transmission & Distribution systems.
“Norway - such a truly unique country. Home to the happiest people, beautiful mountains and lakes and fjords, excellent standard of living, high salaries and of course the ‘Right to roam’ law otherwise known as Allemannsretten – a Norwegian statute that allows people to go where they please to explore, pitch a tent, light a barbeque or just sight-see on a mountain range or forest. Kind of appropriate, don’t you think, when you live in such an area of outstanding natural beauty.
You will be the leader of your pack, managing the resources around you in your natural habitat to ensure your team are safe, sound and productive. You are the supreme predator striking decisively to maximise opportunity. You leave nothing to chance. Every move you make is calculated, every decision you take is thoroughly thought through to ensure every outcome gives you and your team the best possible chance of success in, what is, a very competitive, unforgiving, yet rewarding environment. The spoils of your efforts will be yours to savour, and as you reflect on another job well done you can bask in the respect of your pack, and the envy of those competitors on the outside looking in.”
Well that’s the end of my rather amateurish David Attenborough impression. I think his day job is safe for now. I think I’ll stick to recruiting the best way I know how.
You’ll be working for a company who have an excellent and growing footprint with the wider Scandinavian market.
You will have at least 5 years’ experience in the management of projects within the Energy sector.
You will be particularly adept at planning and monitoring time and resources, tendering and contracting and internal and external compliance. You’ll also be the main interface with local authorities and Norwegian supplier and subcontractors
As a Project Manager you will be determined and focused on everything you put your hand to. You will have an intimate knowledge of all stages of the project from planning to execution and handover.
This company will not pigeon-hole you into one stage of the project. You will take ownership and responsibility for every phase within the project giving you more exposure and moulding you into a more rounded, knowledgeable and effective Project Manager.
Salaries in Norway are recognised as up there with the very best, and this job will not disappoint in terms of financial package for the right person.
