You would be joining yet another highly attractive start-up in the thriving digital sector in Northern Ireland. The founders have a long track record of success in building technology businesses around the globe. They now aim to redefine how users play games on their mobile devices.
This company launched in 2018. They have two senior developers in place along with a data analyst and a digital marketing specialist.
The founders firmly believe an opportunity exists to fundamentally disrupt the User Gaming Experience on mobile devices which can be currently characterised as static, repetitive, boring and counter-intuitive. They have developed a specification for a new type of application targeting the Gaming Industry which has already been prototyped and end-user tested with very encouraging results in 2017.
This is the first start-up in this space in Northern Ireland providing a unique opportunity to be truly disruptive within a very lucrative industry.
They have launched there first product which is now on the App Store and they are recruiting Product Manager who can take ownership of this product as it enters the final phase of testing in preparation for launch. Many more products are in the pipeline to be launched in the future.
We are looking for a Product Manager who has experience in taking digital B2C products to market. Ideally, this experience would be in the game’s arena, but this is not essential. This is quite a senior position so we would be looking for a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in business, engineering, technology and/or consulting. This experience will include working with Agile development methodologies.
You must be able to depict complex ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences and educate SBU/departments on the business vision, and the impact of change. You must be able to make tough decisions quickly and be able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders-strong leadership skills.
You will be a strong problem solver with the ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress quickly. A strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty is needed.
