Excellent new opportunities for experienced Pension Funds Accountants to join the UK's leading pensions consultancy in its Belfast city centre offices.

 

What does the job involve?

 

  • Preparation of pension scheme trustee reports and accounts
  • Reconciliation of investment transactions
  • Preparation of working papers and reconciliation of financial statements
  • Liaison with auditors and investment managers
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
  • Keep time recording system up to date and accurate for chargeable and non-chargeable activities
  • Other ad hoc administrative activities where required
     

The experience required...

 

To be considered for these opportunities you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Accounting experience within either an accountancy practice or a third party pensions provider to include year end accounts prep
  • Previous pensions fund accounting would be advantageous
  • Strong experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of checking work of colleagues for approval
  • Part or fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client focus
