Manual Software Tester– Belfast (£25k- £33k)
There is a tremendous requirement for skilled software testers, especially mobile testers.
The mobile industry is no longer a minority as we can see that all software applications have their equivalent mobile apps too.
This means the need for mobile application testers is also on an all-time rise.
The problem for a tester looking to move into mobile testing is that most companies ask for experience.
Good news! If you are that tester and you have experience testing web applications, then this company can give you the opportunity to move into mobile app testing.
My client develops employee communications and engagement mobile apps.
Now that remote working is the norm, keeping a workforce motivated and connected is a very real challenge.
Medium to large enterprise companies could have employees dotted over the globe.
What is the one thing all these employees have in common? Smartphones!
Now that most of the workforce is working remotely due to the pandemic, the need to engage with workers in more effective ways has risen rapidly.
To cope with the demand, my client has recently hired four developers, and a VP of sales.
You’ll work alongside a senior tester and you will be responsible for ensuring that each Product Release is fully tested across multiple mobile devices, operating systems and web browsers.
You’ll use manual testing techniques at the beginning; however, the company plans to move to automated testing and the company will ensure that the test team will be fully trained.
You should have at least 2 years’ experience testing web applications while ensuring that the Functional UI and UX meet the specifications. You should also be experienced with regression testing and identifying and executing test scenarios.
Along with a competitive salary, you will be given share options, private healthcare, pension, childcare vouchers, and a flexible working environment.
