Junior Designer - £25k – remote working available

Are you a designer who is struggling to secure your first job?

Do you have a strong portfolio of work to demonstrate your creativity?

Do you have the ambition to move into UX design?

My client has implemented a software platform that powers the best bank loyalty programmes in the world!

They occupy a unique space between retailers and banks helping them to get closer to customers by driving incremental sales and lasting loyalty.

For Retailers, they combine purchase insights and loyalty tech in a way that helps them to understand spend behaviour and target personalised messages to the customers they specifically want to reach.

For Banks, their modular technology solution powers some of the largest loyalty programmes in the UK, driving customer engagement at scale, creating deeper relationships and lasting loyalty.

The Job

You will be working directly for the Marketing Director who is responsible for managing the CRM and people engagement.

She currently has two people in her team: a communications manager and a lead designer and she is now recruiting for a junior designer.

You will be developing beautifully crafted PowerPoint presentations to support the sales teams as well as the creation of images and graphics to support other business functions.

You’ll take responsibility for the design of email marketing campaigns for the company.  You will also update the company website and create imagery for all social media platforms.

Skills and Experience

You’ll have a qualification in Fine Art or graphic/digital design.  It is important that you have a portfolio in place to showcase your talent.  You will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Illustrator.

You need to be an ideas person with the confidence to put yourself forward.  The team you will be joining likes people to get involved and be versatile and flexible in their approach.

Career progression is important to this company and you will be given the opportunity to move into different areas.  If UX design is a long-term ambition of yours, then you will get the chance to work directly with UX designers and front-end developers.

Gareth will be in touch soon.
