Healthcare is now at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts.
We are in an unprecedented situation that has never been witnessed before in our lifetime.
The good news is that we are living in the age of major technological advancements in healthcare.
Some of these advancements in healthcare are being developed right here in Belfast.
An artificial intelligence and deep learning start-up that has spun out of Queen’s University, has acquired major funding which will help propel them towards delivering next-generation healthcare through big data analysis.
They use AI and deep learning to develop bespoke applications and interfaces to enable health organisations, biotech, and pharma to filter and transform datasets in real-time.
In layman’s terms, the solutions they have developed unlocks critical information contained in the big data now being generated by researchers in drug trials and other studies and can lead to faster and more effective treatments and cures for diseases.
This technology is already helping healthcare organisations to advance bioscience analytics in the US and Europe.
Recently, they secured a contract with one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. They have now hired 14 people across Data Science (AI, Machine Learning, Python & R developers), Operations and Software Engineering (Frontend, Backend, DevOps, and AWS Architects).
You will focus on full-stack software development, with an emphasis on expanding the company’s Platform as a Service (PaaS) by delivering exciting customer-centric features that seamlessly integrates within the Angular and AWS architecture.
This will give you the opportunity to engage with innovative AI and Machine Learning Projects.
