Full Stack Developer – Belfast - £30k - £50k

Do you want to put
code into production daily?  Read on!

The start-up sector in Belfast is blowing up!

I love recruiting for start-ups. The tech is really interesting, they have a dynamic atmosphere, a flat structure and flexible working conditions. They are also keen for developers to contribute as much as possible with ideas as well as providing them with autonomy.

This start-up ticks all these boxes and more.  Bonuses are achievable for you for excellent performance and share options so you can benefit fully from the company’s overall success
Yes, you would be technically joining a start-up, however, they have been operating for over 2 years now and they already have 4,000 clients across the UK.  They have just secured a major name in their market sector which will ramp things up even further.

If you were to join this company, you would be working a unique software platform to Belfast with only a couple of competitors across the UK. They have created a recruitment portal aimed at the medical industry which enables them to cover temporary shifts or short-term contracts. This platform has changed the traditional recruitment platform by enabling the clients to advertise and fill shifts quickly. You can use this solution via mobile, tablet or desktop hardware.

This platform is already tried and tested but they have big plans moving forward. You would be working on a solution for permanent jobs as well as handing holiday request etc. You would also be working on a host of new features for the existing platform.

The tech stack these guys would use would include Java8, Spring, NodeJs, React, ReactNative, Angular as well as CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, and Handlebars. They would also use some JavaScript modules such as RequireJS, SystemJS, and ES6. The front-end tech is also cutting edge and would include NPM, Bower, Gulp, Webpack, Babel, etc.

This job is for an intermediate/senior developer with 3-5 years’ experience. Although the back-end is developed in Java, we would welcome applications from any object-oriented background. The CTO was a C# Developer before he joined this company so it’s a possible transition. If you are a Java developer who would like to learn React and React Native for mobile, then this is differently a job worth considering.
