Front End Developer – Belfast (£25k - £35k)
Can your work environment make or break how happy you are?
A good work environment not only has the power to boost productivity, but it also boosts employee wellbeing.
A good work environment starts with the leaders.
The company I am representing has a board of directors who have been working together for over 20 years.
Around 8 years ago, Corvus placed the current Managing Director.  He was tasked with restructuring the company, increasing the developer resource within the business, and bringing on more blue-chip clients into the business.
One of the more important mandates was to ensure the company has one of the top working environments in Belfast.
The year is now 2020 and this company has acquired a reputation for delivering results-driven web solutions in a crowded sector.
They now have over 40 skilled technical, creative and digital specialists that has enabled them to expand into various sectors.  They were listed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for three years in a row.
Corvus has been working with them exclusively over this period and we have placed over 20 people in that time.
The feedback has always been excellent.  The team is described as close-knit, who can drive projects to a successful conclusion so that customers are happy, requirements have been met and budgets adhered to.
This is an open, challenging and learning-based environment enabling the development of differentiated web solutions.  They boast a client base that covers Ireland, England, Europe and they even have strategic partners as far away as Asia.
They now have a requirement for a Front-End Developer. You will have around 2 years of commercial experience and your technical skills should include HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS and some background in JavaScript.
You will obtain a competitive salary along with free parking, flexible hours, healthcare, childcare vouchers and career progression opportunities.
The interview process is quite informal and will consist of two stages. The first will be a chat with the Head of Development.  The second will have you a chance to meet the board who will assess your fit within the team.
