Front End Developer – Belfast (£30k - £40k)

The variety of projects on offer is always important to software developers.  It keeps you guys interested and engaged as it enables you to challenge yourself daily.

If you feel your current front-end job has gone a bit stale, then have a look at the projects you could be working on.

You would be part of a technical development team that works closely with UX designers to produce learning portals, eLearning programmes, application user interfaces, product simulations, and game-based learning applications.

You would be joining a family run business that employee’s just over 30 people in Belfast and has been operating for nearly 20 years.  The team consists of creative designers, software developers, educators, sales and marketing, and client services.

Their core business is developing software to facilitate learning and development for the public and private sectors.   Essentially, they are experts in creating e-learning portals to facilitate a wide range of training including compliance, HR, GDPR, Equality, and more.  These portals are custom built for each requirement and offer a wide range of features to manage online and classroom-based learning.

The development and design teams work very closely together.  In fact, if you are a front-end developer who has an eye for UX design, then this would be the perfect job for you.  The company loves people who can get involved in several different areas where they can add value.

Although this company has a large range of clients in several different sectors, you would not be expected to work to tight deadlines, unlike digital agencies for example.  Projects tend to take longer to develop and implement due to the bespoke nature of the product.

You’ll need to have around 3 years practical experience using the Bootstrap framework along with sound knowledge of HTML, CSS and SASS.  JavaScript is also required and, ideally, you will be familiar with a framework such as Angular, React, Vue or an equivalent.  Experience in developing cross-platform resources for desktop and mobile applications is needed due to the nature of the platforms you’ll be working on.

If all this sounds good to you, please send an updated CV using the links provided or you can call/Text/WhatsApp me on 077 8988 6539 for a confidential discussion.
