Digital / Ecommerce Executive

This business is a subsiduary of one of the largest brands in the world and is now placed to appoint a newly created role of Digital Marketing/Ecommerce Executive to support a strong portfolio of brands across their customer base. Working with the sales and marketing team, this role will be pivotal and fast paced and centre around the roll out of a new digital product to NI. 

Priding themselves on their vast range of brands across all categories this opportunity will give invaluable insight to how to create and promote successful brands and see the appointed indidvual engaing with the parent company in Island of Ireland and futher afield in the role out of a new digital product, the first of it's kind in NI.  

The Role

This is a crucial role for the business and the appointed person will work within the marketing team to create engaging campaigns on social media and drive ecommerce activity through new digital products. This will include digital campaigns for a variety of market leading brands. The Digital Marketing Executive will require a great eye for detail, excellent communication skills and a flair for the creative.

You will be supported by an external creative agency and expected to schedule campaigns accordingly. The role involves working with brand partners to set brand guidelines.

The person will also be expected to deliver upon brand new corporate projects and be expected to work with across all departmental teams.  This role will give the opportunity to take ownership of, develop and shape a new-to-market digital product with the support of the management team.

This is a priority project and will allow interaction with senior team members across the business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create, implement and lead digital strategies alongside the brand team.
  • Create digital campaigns and activate them, for various brands, supporting the commercial goals.
  • Maintain all online content including website, e-marketing and B2B systems.
  • Maintain the new digital product and contribute to the development of a customer portal.
  • Support in the trial of digital products with key accounts in Northern Ireland.
  • Develop communication plans and guides for customers on using the products.
  • Report on the success of roll out & functionality.
  • Work with the sales team and customers to support the user journey and digital product adoption. 
  • Support in the production of offline content such as printed brochures.
  • Prepare creative ideas for approval from the wider team.
  • Measure and report on the performance of digital products.
  • Place digital adverts to an agreed budget.  
  • Respond to all external partner requests for marketing collateral.
  • Support on sales and marketing IT related projects.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum two years post graduate work experience in a 'digital first' role
  • IT literate with eCommerce project experience.
  • Marketing communications experience for B2B audience.
  • Demonstratable social media project management experience.
  • Ability to design items of artwork for use across various platforms.
  • Ability to navigate chosen social media platforms and utilise budget successfully.
  • Must be able to place social media adverts, in conjunction with marketing team.

Desirable Criteria

  • FMCG Industry Experience
  • Product shot photography experience.
  • On trade/off trade experience.
  • In Design expertise and familiarity with Adobe suite.

Remuneration

  • Salary antipated to be in the region of £23-£25k, however those falling outside this banding are welcome to discuss their requirements.
