Digital Designer – Belfast (£25k - £30k)

Do you feel free restricted creatively in your current digital or web design job?

Would you be interested in creating animations and testing your creative side to the limit?

The bare bones of this job
is still web design. The difference is that you will also get to express yourself on a range of digital advertising campaigns from concept to implementation.

The benefits you will gain are also top-end and include pension, healthcare, free car parking, life insurance, training and development, and an active social calendar.

I speak to digital and web designers daily and the main issue designers have is that they feel a bit restricted creatively working on solely web-based projects. The Head of Design with this web agency is aware of this and likes to provide a range of projects so that designers can get a breadth of experience.

You will also be able to get your skills up-to-date within working hours as they dedicate 10% of the working week to training and development. A lot of companies require their design and development teams to do this in their own time, but this web design studio allows you to do this while you are at your desk.

The clients you will be working with are also household names and include Electric Ireland, Expedia, Danone, Corona, [yellow tail] and Bombardier.

You will be joining the company during an exciting period of growth as they are actively adding numbers to their web, design and marketing teams. Join now and you will be in a prime position to progress to senior and beyond.

The type of Digital Designer we are on the lookout for will have 2-5 years’ experience in a similar environment and will have experience in implementing digital and traditional advertising campaigns. You will understand what it means to work with brand guidelines and imagery. It is still primarily a web design job so skills in UX design, wireframing and prototyping are needed. The sort of software packages you need to be comfortable with include the Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.

If the above sounds interesting, send me on your portfolio and we’ll start the conversation. Gareth(at)corvus.jobs or give me a call for more information: 07789 886 539

Don’t worry if you don’t have an up-to-date CV, we can deal with that detail later. A good portfolio is much more important.
