Country Manager (Stockholm, Sweden)
Corvus Recruitment have just been engaged by a specialist High Voltage company to recruit a Country Manager to oversee their operations in Sweden. The job will be based in Stockholm but will involve travel to different sites across the country. The job comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.
They provide HV electrical contracting and consulting services involving installation, maintenance, commissioning, design, 24/7 emergency, and HV substations services. The operate across several sectors including manufacturing and pharmaceuticals plants, data centres, oil, gas and mining, renewables, public works, and HV substations.
Tell me more about the job:
The main purpose of the role is to be the primary contact and representative for the company with regard to customer relationships, new business development and helping the project management teams interfacing with local authorities or Swedish supplier/subcontractors. The Country Manager will also support the team to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, to exceptional standards and in strict adherence to H&S regulations.
Is this the job for you?
In terms of educational background you will be coming from a Civil or Electrical discipline. You will also be able to demonstrate Management and Business Development experience within the Electrical Power/Grid Systems or Substations business in Sweden. The Country Manager will need to be fluent in both Swedish and English. You will be an able negotiator with the ability to build relationships with Swedish utility suppliers and internally with your own project management teams.
