PR Client Manager

Our client is a leading PR & communications agency, providing best-in-class services to an impressive portfolio of businesses throughout the Island of Ireland. The business prides itself on its close-knit team, commitment to innovation, strategy and tactics to elevate the corporate and consumer clients they engage and ability to invigorate brands.

In line with growth and a surge in demand for services, the business is now seeking a Client Manager to take ownership and assist in bringing fresh ideas and direction to a number of accounts spanning consumer and/or corporate across a range of impressive and interesting clients.

The appointed individual will be a natural creative thinker, strong in the creation of engaging copy who takes pride and enjoyment in building business relationships with a desire to make impressive impact.

The appointed person could be a communications professional from industry or agency and at a stage to take a step up in their career or offer a depth of expertise at this level presently.

Key Responsibilities

Engage directly with clients to understand their key goals, direction and the marketplace they operate in to position them uniquely to their target market across all of their communication channels.  

Take ownership of being your client's strategist and their champion – anticipate their needs, seek and create unique opportunities for them, generate results and outcomes that exceed their expectations and trouble-shoot on their behalf

Develop and contribute to highly targeted and holistic PR strategies, plans and tactics across traditional media, social media and the wider marketing spectrum

Produce journalist-quality and compelling content and copy to meet all client/Agency needs (news releases, statements, editorial/features, strategy documents, new business proposals, web and marketing copy)

Provide first-class media relations and engagement when required

Work with budgets and metrics demonstrating their impact

Anticipated Profile:


Graduate calibre combining industry-related qualifications. Ideally offering a Degree in business, communications, marketing, journalism – or credible alternative.

Evidence of commitment to personal development

Membership of professional body.


Professional Experience

Minimum three years’ experience in a comms role within a communications or media environment and strong flair for client or stakeholder management.

Personal Aptitudes

Strong entrepreneurial flair.

Compelling & creative presentation skills – oral and written.

Demonstrably excellent writing skills.

Good understanding of engagement on social media and online.

Good creative insight, flair and application.

Flexible to work on occasion outside of typical working hours as required

Hold a current & valid full UK driving license with full access to a vehicle.



Salary estimated at £32-£38 (dependent on experience)
